Checkout languages
The checkout follows the buyer’s language automatically across 17 languages, with locale-aware currency, dates and address order.

Automatic, no setup
The checkout renders in the buyer's language without any action on your side: section titles, field labels, shipping and payment copy, error messages, the totals and the thank-you page all come from per-language message files. Number, currency and date formatting follow the locale too ("€ 54,00" for a Dutch buyer, "€54.00" for an English one), and the address fields are ordered per country (postal code before city in the Netherlands and Germany, city before state and ZIP in the US).

A language you pinned in the editor
Only when you chose one; otherwise automatic.
The storefront language
The theme line sends the language the buyer was browsing your store in (for example nl or de-DE).
The browser's language
The buyer's Accept-Language preference.
Your store's primary language, then English
Any language not in the list falls back to English.

Whop's card fields use the matching Whop locale when one exists and English otherwise. Every language file is checked to have every key, so a missing translation can never leave a blank label.
Pinning one language
In Checkout open the Language tab and switch the mode from automatic to a fixed language. Everyone then sees that language, whatever their browser says.
Your own texts
Texts you type yourself in the editor (a custom pay button label, the contact, payment and footer notes, the announcement bar) are shown exactly as written in every language. Write them in the language most of your buyers use, or keep the translated defaults.
