Checkouts are paused or off

Five conditions, all at once

The LatchPay checkout of a store runs only while all five hold. The moment one fails, the theme line on that store stops intercepting. With more than one store each store is checked on its own, except the membership, which counts for all of them:

• Your LatchPay membership is active (or trialing).
• The Whop business this store pays into is connected and the LatchPay app holds every required permission there.
• The Shopify store is connected and its credentials still work.
• Checkout interception is switched on in Settings for this store.
• Nothing has paused it: no failed fee charge for this store, no lapsed membership.

The Theme snippet page shows the verdict for the store selected in the store menu as a pill: LatchPay checkout is on, Switched on, but paused, or LatchPay checkout is off, with the reasons.

The banners and what they mean

• Your LatchPay membership is not active. Renew or fix the card on Whop; the dashboard re-checks every five minutes and on Whop's membership webhook. See Your membership.
• The last LatchPay fee charge failed, so checkouts are paused. Update the card on your membership; the charge is retried on the next weekly run. See A fee charge failed.
• The LatchPay app is not installed on your Whop business yet or Some Whop permissions are missing: finish the install or re-approve on Whop, then Re-check. See Whop permissions.
• Whop is disconnected. Pick a business for the store again on the Whop page. A store that has no business yet shows the same until you choose one.
• Shopify cannot be reached with the saved credentials. The banner names the cause; fix it and Re-check. See Shopify connection errors.
• The LatchPay checkout is off. Not a fault: switch it on in Settings when you are ready.
