Starter and Scale
Starter is €100 per 30 days plus 0.5%; Scale is €299 plus 0.25%. They cross over at €79,600 of paid orders a month.

Two plans, same checkout
- Starter: €100 per 30 days plus 0.5% of paid orders minus refunds.
- Scale: €299 per 30 days plus 0.25% of paid orders minus refunds.
Both are the same product: the same checkout, the same dashboard, every feature. Only the two numbers differ. There is no setup fee, and the usage fee is billed separately to your card, never taken out of a payout.
Where they cross over
The plans cost the same at €79,600 of paid orders in a month: (€299 − €100) ÷ (0.5% − 0.25%). Below about €80,000 Starter is cheaper; above it Scale is. At €150,000 a month Scale saves about €176. The fees page has a comparison table.
Which one to pick
Pick by your expected monthly sales; either plan is fine at any size and nothing forces an upgrade. Once your last 30 days pass about €80,000 the dashboard shows what Scale would have saved, and a Scale merchant whose volume drops sees what Starter would cost instead. The comparison is shown for EUR, USD and GBP stores, where the euro prices compare honestly.
Buying and switching on Whop
The membership is bought on Whop: Starter or Scale. Pay while signed in to the Whop account you use for LatchPay. To switch, buy the other plan on Whop and cancel this one there; your tier is the highest plan that is active, and the new rate applies from the next weekly fee run. See Switching plans.
The membership is the switch
An active membership is what keeps the checkout running. When it lapses, LatchPay stops creating checkouts and buyers use Shopify's checkout again on the next page load. The card you use for the membership is the card the usage fee is billed to.
